Policy For Children Under 13 Years Old
Due to the nature of a chat site, prevention of posting personal information for children under the age of 13 is impossible. For this reason, We declare the following.
If you are under the age of 13 years old, you agree that by using LDSChat.com you will not disclose any personal information. This includes, but is not limited to: Real first or last name, home address, city or state in which you live, phone number, fax number, email address, home web page, or any other information of this nature. In this specific usage of the phrase "by using LDSChat.com", it is meant to mean browsing any of the web pages, using any of the chatting software or facilities, or in any way causing page views or hits on LDSChat.com.
LDSChat.com does not collect online contact information or individually identifiable offline contact information from children under 13.
LDSChat.com does not entice any children under 13 to divulge more information than is needed to participate in any particular activity.
General Policy
You agree that by using LDSChat.com you will be bound to the following: - Rules: You will read and follow all of the rules posted here. - Moderators: You will follow moderators instructions even if you disagree with their judgements. Our Web server stores no information regarding the domain or e-mail address for individuals visiting LDSChat.com. Our chat software does not store any information about users unless the user registers his/her nick name. If a user registers his/her nick name only what is entered by the user, as well as the username the user is going by will be stored. The information fields available are Name, Quote/Info/or About, Home page/url, and Email address. Again if the user is under 13 years old, all of this information is prohibited from being entered in compliance for the kids privacy act. If a user name is not accessed within 30 days, the user name will be removed and will become available for any other users to register or use.
LDSChat.com only collects statistical information, page views and IP addresses as well as information volunteered by the user, such as surveys.
The information we collect is used for internal review, and will not be shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
We do not set any cookies.
We will never attempt to email you except in in response to email or regarding personal conduct in chat rooms.
We will never share your email address with any other organizations.
If we receive your postal address on-line it will only be used in sending the information you requested.
If LDSChat.com receives your telephone number on-line it will only be used to contact you regarding the information you requested.
In order for LDSChat.com to remain a free service for you, we have relationships with other companies. We allow these companies to place ads on our Web pages. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, IP address, and click information.
If our privacy policy changes at some time in the future we will post the policy changes here. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back to this page periodically. We will post any instructions neccessary for excluding your information from these changes.
